ACES Participates in the Fourth International Conference on Engineering Geophysics in Al Ain

ACES participated in the 4th edition of the International Conference on Engineering Geophysics (ICEG) which took place in Al Ain, UAE in October 2017. The conference was organized by the Society of Exploration Geophysics (SEG), United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) and Al Ain City Municipality. The objectives of the conference are to concentrate on global innovation, creativity, advances and new approaches in near surface engineering geophysics and in related fields in different parts of the world.

ACES participated with three scientific papers presented by Eng. Mahmoud Harb, Geophysical Regional Center of Excellence (RCE) Manager, Dr. Hamdan Hamdan, Head of Geophysical Technical Section at the RCE, and Eng. Domenic Ndeieh, Senior Marine Geophysicist. An Exhibition booth was also set to demonstrate ACES wide variety of geophysical services. In addition, Eng. Nadia Halawi, Assistant Branch Manager of ACES Abu Dhabi, participated in the conference panel themed Women in Geosciences: Journey from Student to Young Professional after a special invitation from conference committee to share her experiences of over three decades throughout the geoscience & geotechnical community.
