ACES Abu Dhabi has been entrusted by Abu Dhabi Maritime, a division of AD Ports Group, with a significant survey campaign aimed at supporting Abu Dhabi’s rise as a top global maritime city. Our role involved conducting extensive terrestrial surveys, hydrographic surveys, and nearshore geotechnical investigations across key sites in the Abu Dhabi Emirate, from Taweelah in the east to Delma Island in the west.
The scope of our work included detailed topographic surveys over an area exceeding 125,000 sqm, establishing 37 benchmarks aligned with the ADM Control Network, and performing comprehensive bathymetry surveys and marine geophysics across 9.3 million sqm of seabed. Additionally, our nearshore geotechnical efforts entailed drilling over 105 marine boreholes and completing 98 vibrocores using advanced, environmentally sensitive techniques.
This detailed survey campaign was completed ahead of schedule and maintained a perfect safety record, showcasing our commitment to excellence and safety in advancing Abu Dhabi’s maritime infrastructure.
