ACES Academy Delivers Five ASTM Training Courses in Asphalt Technology and Quality Control in Kuwait

Through ACES Academy, the ACES Regional Center of Excellence for Pavement Studies and Evaluation delivered five training courses in asphalt technology and quality control in Kuwait from 3 to 8 October 2026, hosted by ACES Kuwait and certified by ASTM International:

1. Laboratory Testing for Modified Marshall Mix, Level I
2. Asphalt Mixing Plant Quality Control
3. Quality Control, Field Testing and Sampling
4. Penetration Grade Bitumen Tests
5. Performance Grade Bitumen Tests

The program brought together 50 participants, including civil engineers, laboratory technicians, and asphalt mixing plant operators from mixing plants, construction companies, testing laboratories, and consultancy firms, alongside five engineers and technicians from the ACES Kuwait laboratory. Participants will sit ASTM evaluation examinations on 8 and 9 November 2026, with certificates awarded to those who pass. The program reflects the role of ACES Academy in bringing the technical knowledge built over four decades of ACES projects to engineers and technicians across the region.
