ACES-Doha has achieved a significant milestone as the first lab in Qatar to receive the ISO/IEC 17020:2012 accreditation certificate. Following a rigorous evaluation by the GCC Accreditation Center (GAC), our accreditation covers inspections for all types of food establishments including but not limited to restaurants, hotels, food markets, caterers, cafeterias, and food manufacturing facilities.
We are also pleased to announce that ACES-Doha has been awarded a substantial contract to enhance and support food inspection services under the esteemed Food Safety Department. This initiative aims to maintain and improve the existing quality inspection system as per ISO 17020 standards and build capacity for ISO 17065 certification over the next three years. This contract builds on ACES-Doha's five years of experience implementing the MoPH quality inspection system, further solidifying its role in safeguarding public health and food safety standards in Qatar.
These milestones mark ACES-Doha's continued growth and leadership in delivering essential services that meet rigorous international standards and contribute to Qatar's food safety infrastructure.
