ACES Jeddah has been awarded the construction materials testing, environmental testing, and quality control works for Phase One of “The Red Sea Project.” The awarded contract scope of work includes establishing site laboratories to conduct around 300 types of tests over a period of 3 years. The lab staff is expected to exceed 40 engineers and technicians for the duration of the Project.
The Red Sea Project is a mega-development on the Western coast of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The strategic objective of the Project is to transform the Umluj & Al Wajh region into a unique luxury tourist destination with a focus on the ecology and wellness, for local and international visitors. The Project’s first phase will include infrastructure, airport and tourism projects (several hotels, a coastal Village, and residential complexes).
This contract is part of the broader ACES scope at the Red Sea Development, which includes land geotechnical investigations, offshore geotechnical investigations, geophysical investigations, and the abovementioned services.
The client for the Project is the Red Sea Development Company.
