ACES Jordan has completed the geotechnical investigation for Phase 1 of the Saudi Jordanian Fund for Medical and Educational Investments Company (SJFMEI) Healthcare & Educational Project, a venture touted as one of the most ambitious healthcare initiatives in Jordan and the broader Middle East region.
The project encompasses the construction of a university hospital and five medical centers of excellence with a built-up area spanning approximately 110,000 square meters. The campus is located on the airport road, close to the Ghamadan area on the outskirts of Amman.
The geotechnical scope within this phase consists of drilling over 100 geotechnical boreholes to varying depths, excavating test pits, conducting numerous field and laboratory tests, and presenting a thorough and comprehensive geotechnical report.
Dar Al-Handasah is the consultant on this project, and Hill International is the project manager. The Medical and Educational Investments Company (SJFMEI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Saudi Jordan Investment Fund, is the project owner.
