ACES Khobar completes the geotechnical investigation for the “the Waves” Project

ACES Khobar has completed the geotechnical and geophysical investigation for the “the Waves” entertainment complex, a high-profile project for Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN). Located on reclaimed waterfront land, the complex promises to be a landmark in Khobar, covering an area of about 300,000 square meters in the Al Bahar Area, North of the city.

The project's scope was extensive and multifaceted, involving the drilling of seventy-nine boreholes, with depths ranging from 20 to 40 meters, along with the excavation of test pits. Advanced geophysical techniques such as Multichannel Analysis of Surface Waves (MASW) were employed, complemented by numerous field and laboratory tests. This meticulous work culminated in the delivery of a detailed and comprehensive geotechnical report.

The client for this project is Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN), a subsidiary fully owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF).
