ACES Oman is pleased to announce the successful completion of the geotechnical, geological, and geophysical Investigation for the UAE-Oman Railway Link, which will establish a vital connection between Sohar Port and the UAE National Rail Network. Our team of experts executed extensive work that involved drilling and sampling from over 30 boreholes, performing piezocone penetration tests, and conducting geological mapping for the proposed railway.
In addition, we carried out advanced geophysical surveys, optical borehole televiewer logging, and an extensive laboratory testing program, including petrographic analysis and consolidated triaxial testing. These comprehensive investigations provided our esteemed client, Egis Rail SA Branch, with valuable insights into the geology and subsurface conditions of the project area.
