ACES Pavement Regional Center of Excellence (RCE) was awarded the pavement evaluation of runways at Kuwait International Airport

The evaluation covers a large scope which includes planning and analysis of structural SH-FWD evaluation of both airport runways with all airport taxiways and aprons, calculating the  Airport Pavement Classification Number (PCN) at each Super Heavy Falling Weight Deflectometer SH-FWD test point, performing wet skid resistance testing for both runways using Continuous Friction Measuring Equipment (CFME), and developing general conclusions based on the field-testing about required maintenance and PCN of the different airport sections.
